I had booked this flight using 29,000 Virgin Points + $254.10 in taxes & fees when VS first switched over to dynamic pricing at the start of the year. I had transferred Chase UR points to VS during Covid when there was the 30% transfer bonus. So that comes out to 22,307 UR for this splendid Trans-Atlantic flight with VS. What a Steal!

The Hard Product:

Virgin Atlantic's Airbus A350-1000 is equipped with 44 Safran Cirrus NG seats arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration.

For this trip, I had picked seat 1A as I wanted a window seat and the first row seats all have a wider foot well.

Conclusion:

Overall, this flight was excellent, especially at 29,000 Virgin points. Although the taxes & fees were a little steep, it was still an excellent value for flying into the UK.
